Should
you chose a signature with a completely transparent
background? Or not?
Signatures can be made with
either totally transparent backgrounds or they can be
saved to look good on just specific colour backgrounds.
Look at the examples below to determine which sort of
transparency you want.
The two signatures above
have totally transparent backgrounds. See how the edges
of the letters look sharp against both the white and
the purple background?
You should chose this option
if you want to be able to use your signature on any
background, both black and white as well as other colours.
These signatures have slightly jagged edges on all backgrounds.
The two signatures above
are made for specific colour backgrounds, in this case
they were made for white or very light backgrounds.
Notice how the edges of the letters look nice and smooth
on the white background but not so nice on the purple
background?
You should chose this option
if you want the more elegant smooth look of the letter
edges and if you know that you'll probably be using
the signature on a limited number of colours. You can
chose to order this signature both for white and black
and other speicific colour backgrounds you'll just have
to specify when ordering. There is no extra change for
this unless you want to specify more than 10 colours.
